RICHMOND, Va.— Freshman Lula Arcila and senior Eliza Teplow each earned CAA weekly awards as announced by the conference on Monday. Arcila claimed Rookie of the Week honors, while Teplow was named the Co-Defensive Player of the Week.

The duo helped guide the Huskies to a 3-0 victory at Drexel to open CAA play. It marked the Huskies first opening-day CAA victory since the 2023 season.

Arcila's first career weekly honor comes on the heels of her scoring her first two collegiate goals against the Dragons. Arcila potted goals in the 65th and 83rd minutes of the game.

Teplow earned her fifth shutout of the season against Drexel en route to claiming her third weekly award of the year. The Wellesley, Massachusetts native posted five saves against the Dragons.

Arcila, Teplow and the Huskies are back in action at Charleston on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m.
