BOSTON— The Northeastern women's soccer team is set for two more conference road matchups this week beginning with a trip to Charleston on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. The Huskies will then take on UNCW on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. Both games will stream on FloCollege.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- OPENING DAY: Northeastern opened CAA play with a 3-0 victory at Drexel. Freshman Lula Arcila collected CAA Rookie of the Week honors after scoring her first two collegiate goals in the win. Senior Eliza Teplow earned her third CAA Defensive Player of the Week nod after recording her fifth shutout of the year.
- ON THE PROWL: The Huskies are 9-2-1 all-time against Charleston, but will be looking for their first win against the Cougars since 2023. CofC won the 2025 matchup, 2-1, while Olivia Penn scored her first career goal. Charleston sits at 3-4-3 on the season and opened up its conference slate with a 1-1 tie against William & Mary.
- FLYING DOWN SOUTH: UNCW is undefeated in 2026, with a 6-0-4 record. The Seahawks claimed their first CAA victory of the year, 6-0, against Hampton. NU has an all-time record of 12-9-1 against UNCW, with last year's meeting being a narrow 1-0 victory for the Seahawks. UNCW is second among all CAA teams with 21 goals this season, with Hailey Longwell and Caigan Leonard each scoring four apiece.
The Huskies will next return home to host Hofstra on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. at Parsons Field. Â
