Freshman Brittany Eukovich led the Northeastern volleyball team with 10 kills as the Huskies downed Hartford 3-0 (30-21, 30-18, 30-17) in America East volleyball action Tuesday night at the Reich Family Pavillion. NU improves to 16-8 overall and 7-1 in league action.
Lindsay Feller chipped in with nine kills while Brandie Genibrel recorded a team-high 10 digs. Setters Ivana Pavlisin (20) and Whitney Weinkoop (19) combined for 39 assists.
The Hawks (5-21, 0-8) dropped their 11th straight match and remain winless in conference action. Hartford's Junior setter Brianne Paulson posted a double-double for Hartford with team-highs of 20 assists and 12 digs. Freshman Jennifer Monroy and junior Gillian Ryan each tallied seven kills apiece while junior Catherine Mahon added a team-high 13 digs.
Northeastern continues on the road when they travel to Albany on Fri., Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
