Then NU regained the momentum by rolling off eight consecutive points of its own. With Northeastern holding on to a 24-22 lead late, the home squad took over once again, this time with six out of seven points, two on Adomat kills, to take the game 30-23.

In game three, the Huskies took an 8-7 lead and never trailed again in a 30-24 victory. The Huskies held a 27-17 lead late in the game, but the visitors showed no signs of going away quietly. UNC-Wilmington rallied to make the score 27-22, only to see NU bounce back with back-to-back points, as the Huskies went on to win the match with a 30-24 decision.

NU hit .190 for the match to Wilmington's .135, but Adomat was the star of the evening, hitting a resounding .562. NU got 21 assists from Ivana Pavlisin, and 16 digs from Kira Batura. Batura has now registered double-digit digs in 26 consecutive matches. Lauren DeTurk posted four aces for the Huskies.
