Jon Leroux (2-for-4) smashed two-RBI doubles to lead the Huskies over Western Michigan, 8-4. Fellow freshman
Dylan Maki earned the win out of the bullpen, and
Chris Carmain (who started the game as the DH) picked up the save with three solid innings of work.

Brandon McNelis threw five innings, allowing just two runs and seven hits while racking up six strikeouts.
Senior
Tony DiCesare kept his hot bat going, batting 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
The Huskies fell behind 2-0 in the third inning, but quickly responded with three runs. Leroux led off the inning with a single, followed by a
Ryan Maguire walk.
Matt Miller sacrificed them into scoring position, where they both scored on Gillis' scorcher to left field. Gillis later scored on a DiCesare single.
The Broncos and Huskies were scoreless for the next two frames, until Western Michigan regained the lead in the top of the sixth, 4-3. The lead didn't last long, though, as the Huskies mounted a two-out rally that included two doubles and three runs to put NU up 6-4.
The Huskies added to their lead in the next inning, using a Gillis single, a DiCesare double a
Brendan Stokes single and a Pastyrnak sacrifice hit. After seven innings, the Huskies were up 8-4.
Three innings of three-hit ball from Carmain earned him the save, piggybacking on Maki's win.
The teams combined for 12 extra-base hits in the game, including two DiCesare doubles.
Miller has earned a hit in every game this season after his sixth-inning double down the left field line.
The Huskies get an off day in Florida tomorrow in preparation for their exhibition game against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
