Husky Hugs program

This Saturday, Dec. 1, when the Northeastern men's hockey team welcomes in Massachusetts at 7 p.m., fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to Matthews Arena. When the Huskies score their first goal, fans can throw their stuffed animals onto the ice.

The toys will be donated to local homeless shelters and hospitals.

The first 1,000 students to bring a stuffed animal to the game will receive a free DogHouse t-shirt!

Saturday's Teddy Bear Toss is part of the Husky Hugs program run by Northeastern University's Office of Alumni Relations.
