BOSTON – Northeastern Athletics will host its annual student ticket sale for the 61st annual Beanpot Tournament on Sunday during the women's ice hockey game against Providence at Matthews Arena. The game begins at 2 p.m., and the sale will begin at the second intermission.
Doors will open for the women's game at 1 p.m. on Sunday. All students who attend will be admitted free of charge, be given a free concession item, and receive a voucher for the Beanpot ticket sale. At the beginning of the second intermission, students will be called up based on the number listed on the voucher for the opportunity to purchase Beanpot tickets.
Tickets for the tournament, which are limited in quantity, are $42 in the center balcony and $32 in the corner balcony. Students must present a valid Northeastern Student ID when purchasing tickets, no exceptions. Cash or credit will be accepted for payment.
The purchase of the Beanpot ticket on Sunday will be good for both the first round against Boston University on Monday, Feb. 4 (5 p.m.) and the following contest on Monday, Feb. 11 (4:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.), at the TD Garden.
