Tickets for the UMass Lowell vs. Northeastern showdown as part of Citi Frozen Fenway 2014 are now on sale to the general public. The Huskies will host the Frozen Four participant on Saturday, Jan. 11, at venerable Fenway Park. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Huskies and River Hawks kick off Saturday's festivities as Boston University hosts Maine on the backend of the twinbill following the UML-NU contest at 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Jan. 4, Merrimack and Providence initiate Citi Frozen Fenway 2014 with a 4 p.m. faceoff followed by the Notre Dame vs. Boston College contest at 7:30 p.m.
All four games will be broadcast in high definition by NESN.
Tickets for the college doubleheaders will be available to the general public beginning on Friday, Sept. 6, at noon at redsox.com/frozenfenway or by calling (877) RED-SOX9. Patrons who require accessible seating may call (877) RED-SOX9. The Red Sox' TTY number for hearing-impaired fans is (617) 226-6644. Tickets start as low as $5 and will be valid for both games of the doubleheader.
As the ice returns to Fenway Park, so does Mayor Thomas M. Menino's Community Skate, making the ice at Fenway Park available to residents of the City of Boston for two, free days of skating on Sunday, Dec. 29, and New Year's Day. Ticket information for the public skating days will be announced in the coming weeks.
In 2012, more than 90,000 hockey and skating fans came through the ballpark to enjoy a game, free skating or a private event, generating over $30 million in visitor spending for the City of Boston and region.

The UMass Lowell – Northeastern bout at 4 Yawkey Way marks the Huskies' second appearance at Fenway Park. Two seasons ago, Northeastern and Boston College collided on the diamond as the Eagles narrowly escaped with a 2-1 victory on Jan. 14, 2012.
