PHILADELPHIA, Pa. –
Jared Lane re-wrote history this evening, blowing past a 30-year-old school record in the outdoor 110m hurdles with 13.89 seconds on day two of the 122nd Penn Relays, hosted at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field.
The senior was previously ranked No. 2 All-Time at NU with 14.04 seconds. The record was last set by Geoff Caldarone (13.98 seconds) at the 1986 Outdoor New England Championships, hosted by the Huskies.
Lane will compete in the college men's 110mH championship tomorrow, April 30, at 3:20 p.m.
The top-50 national performer will be among fellow national leaders, including Houston's Isaac Williams, Marcus McWilliams, and Amere Lattin, as well as Clemson's Justin Johnson. Live results can be found

The men's 4x100m relay squad of Lane,
Collins Ebozue,
Donovan Henry and
Kwame Fordwor advances to the college men's finals tomorrow at 1:37 p.m. after finishing the preliminaries this afternoon in 41.18 seconds – good for 15
th place.
The Huskies will race against some of the
USTFCCCA northeast region's top relay teams, including Cornell, Army and LIU-Brooklyn. Live results can be found
