BOSTON – The regular season is coming to a close and the Northeastern field hockey team is headed out on the road for the final two games beginning Friday night at Delaware, before closing the weekend out at Drexel on Sunday.
The Huskies are 3-1 for the first time since the 2014 season, heading into the final weekend of play. But as always, the CAA race is a tight one.
OF NOTE: The game at Delaware has been moved up from the previously scheduled time of 6 p.m. to 5 p.m. So if you heading to the game get there early! Or if you are planning on watching from home, get to CAA.TV an hour sooner.

HUSKIES VS. DELAWARE
- The Huskies will begin their final weekend of regular season action at Delaware, who Northeastern has faced 29 times in the past and holds a 17-12 series lead
- The two squads met twice last season, in back-to-back contests, to end the regular season, and in the first round of the CAA Tournament
- Delaware has won the last six meetings between the two squads
- The No. 16 Blue Hens are 10-6 and undefeated in conference play this year, led by Lotte de Koning who has eight goals and three assists on the year and Greta Nauck who has six goals and seven helpers in 2018

HUSKIES VS. DREXEL
- The regular season finale comes against Drexel this season in Philly

- Drexel is led by Tess Bernheimer who has the majority of the offense with 11 goals and two assists this season

- This season, a bunch of Huskies have recorded some career-firsts:
- Shawn Davenport registered the first points of the season for the Huskies and her first career goal in the season opener against Boston University
- Freshman Lexie Dunleavy picked up her first career point with an assist at UMass, while tallying her first-career goal against William & Mary
- Senior, and Watertown native, Rachel Cambell netted her first career goal against neighbor Boston College
- Redshirt freshman Angela Connolly recorded her first career goal, the Huskies season-high fifth of the game, against Towson
- June Curry-Lindahl picked up her first career CAA Player of the Week nod
- Redshirt freshman Jamie Chebuske netted her first career goal against Hofstra, an insurance goal to seal the win
- Bella Cuomo became the sixth Husky to record their first collegiate goal this season when she sealed the Huskies' victory over Bryant with a second-half insurance goal
- Melanie Weber notched her first career goal and first career assist against UMass
- After tallying her third career game-winning goal, Campbell picked up her first career CAA weekly honor
- Solid in net
- Sophomore Julia Gluyas has played and started in all 14 games this season in goal for the Huskies
- After earning about half of the starts in goal in her freshman campaign, Gluyas has taken the opportunity and made the most of it allowing 38 goals for a 2.40 GAA while making a career-best 82 saves (so far) on 184 shots faced in 2018
- Combined with her 63 saves last season, Gluyas has already gone over the century mark for career saves with 145 ...and counting
