Five Huskies Earn All-CAA Honors

RICHMOND, Va. — The CAA announced that the Northeastern field hockey team has five players that have earned All-CAA honors for the 2025 season. Graduate student goaltender Arabella Loveridge earned All-CAA First Team accolades. On the All-CAA Second Team, three Huskies earned a spot: senior Emilia Adragna, freshman Jessica Garden and junior Alex Mega. Two freshmen including Garden and Lucy Walton, were named to the All-CAA Rookie Team.

Loveridge finished the regular season with a save percentage of .755 and 80 saves on the season. The Auckland, New Zealand native earned Defensive Player of the Week honors in the first week of the season and has continued to prove her talent ever since. Loveridge made a season high twelve saves in the final regular season game at Maryland. 

Adragna, a Bonn, Germany native, slotted home a team-high seven goals and had one assist this season to earn an All-CAA Second Team nod. Adragna is tied for fourth in the CAA for goals scored. The senior earned Offensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 27. 

Garden, a freshman standout for the Huskies, has scored three goals and three assists this season. She was named to the All-CAA Second Team and earned All-CAA Rookie Team accolades. The Edinburgh, Scotland native won Rookie of the Week on Oct. 27. Garden was recently selected to play for the Scotland U21 Junior World Cup team. 

Mega, an East Greenwich, R.I. native, has notched three goals and seven assists this season. A dangerous player in the midfield, she is currently tied for fourth place in the CAA for assists and first among all Huskies. Mega adds this award to her 2023 All-CAA Rookie Team honors. 

Walton also earned All-Rookie Team honors for the Huskies. Walton has been a solid defender, playing in all fifteen games. The Norwich, England native has scored one goal and tacked on three assists.

The Huskies are back in action Friday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. as they take on Drexel in the CAA Semifinal at So Sweet A Cat Field in West Long Branch, N.J. on FloCollege.
