BOSTON --
The Northeastern volleyball team (15-11, 8-5) extended their win streak to four with a win over Delaware (9-16, 3-10) in straight sets on Friday evening.

Seniors Taylor Reiter, Gabrielle Eyl and Sherrie Wang celebrated accordingly leading the Huskies to their fifth sweep of the 2018 season. Reiter tabbed eight kills and five blocks, her strongest performance since opening weekend at the North Texas Invitational. Eyl led the field in digs with 16 and tacked on two assists and an ace. Wang also contributed an ace and three digs for the Howlin' Huskies.

The Blue Hens showed up early and took a 4-0 lead in the first set -- a Husky deficit that was quickly diminished. NU eventually went ahead to outscore Delaware, 25-15 in set one. Although the second set proved more level, the Huskies' offense was able to take a late lead and win the insurance set, 25-21. Their momentum carried strong into set three where they took a 25-16 lead for the sweep over the Blue Hens.
