BOSTON -- In their final home contest of the 2018 season, the Northeastern volleyball team (16-12, 9-6) beat UNC Wilmington (13-11, 6-8) in straight sets on Monday evening.

A trio of hitters dominated the Huskies' offense with Natalie Shollin hitting 14 kills for a .393 clip, Athena Ardila finding her rythym for 13 kills and freshman Hannah Boyd for 12.

Despite close scores in all three sets, the Howlin' Huskies electric offense was clearly in control of the match, not allowing the Seahawks' blocking to deter them from scoring points over the net.

The match was highlighted by a 59 second rally in the third set, resulting in a Husky point after the ball went out off of a Seahawk attack.
