BOSTON -- The final weekend of the regular season is here, and No. 11/10 Northeastern will go for its 20th victory of the season on Senior Night as the Huskies host New Hampshire at Matthews Arena. Northeastern has already locked up a first round bye and home ice in the Hockey East quarterfinals. The Huskies can finish anywhere from first to third in the final league standings.

Thank you seniors
Prior to Friday's game, Northeastern will honor the six members of the senior class (Garrett Cecere, Patrick Jordan, Trevor Owens, Dylan Sikura, Nolan Stevens, Jake Theut). During their tenures, the group has helped lead Northeastern to its first Hockey East title in 28 years, fifth NCAA appearance and the program's first Beanpot title since 1988. They are 75-53-19 in their four years, making them the winningest class in Northeastern history.

Last weekend's sweep at Vermont put the Huskies on solid footing near the top of the Hockey East standings. Northeastern has already secured a first round bye and home for the Hockey East quarterfinals, which will be held on Mar. 9-11 at Matthews Arena. The Huskies can finish anywhere from first to third in the final regular season standings, and have a chance at its first Hockey East regular season championship in program history.

For the first time since 1988, the Beanpot is back on Huntington Avenue as Northeastern battled back from a goal down to defeat Boston University comfortably, 5-2, on Monday at TD Garden. Adam Gaudette's hat trick landed the NU junior 2018 Beanpot MVP honors, while rookie netminder Cayden Primeau saved 75-of-77 shots on goal during the tournament to become Northeastern's first Eberly Award winner since 2011.

Home sweet home
Northeastern is 11-4-2 at Matthews Arena, tied for the fifth most home wins in the NCAA and tied for the fifth most home wins in Northeastern single-season history. The Huskies are averaging 4.00 goals per game at home, fourth in the nation and outscoring opponents by an average of 1.65 goals per game (seventh in the NCAA).

Northeastern's Big 3 have done a lot of their work at home this season:
• Adam Gaudette has 26 points (12 goals, 14 assists), tied for the most home points in the nation

• Dylan Sikura has 25 points (eight goals, 17 assists), third in the nation in home points and second in the nation in home assists

• Nolan Stevens has 13 goals, tied for the most home goals in the nation

Gaud Is Good
Adam Gaudette leads the nation in both overall scoring (51 points) and goals (27). His 17 multi-point games are the most in college hockey. Gaudette's been filling the net in every way, and is near the top of the list in several categories:

Goal: Number (NCAA Rank)
Total Goals: 27 (1st)
Power Play Goals: 11 (2nd)
Shorthanded Goals: 2 (t-8th)
Game-Winning Goals: 4 (t-12th)
Multi-Goal Games: 7 (1st)
Hat Tricks: 2 (t-1st)

Gaudette became the 18th Husky since 1956 with 40 points in consecutive seasons. He's also the 16th Husky since 1953 to record two 20-goal seasons during his collegiate career, and the 15th to do it in consecutive seasons (first since J.F. Aube in 1994-95).

He's Sik
Senior Dylan Sikura is second among active players in the nation with 137 career points, and is currently second in the nation with 45 points (15 goals, 30 assists) in 29 games this season (1.55 points per game; second in the NCAA). His 30 helpers lead the country, and is currently second in the NCAA with 5.03 shots/game.

What's most impressive about Sikura is his steady progression throughout his career at Northeastern. He went from a seven-point in 25-game freshman campaign to 28 points as a sophomore before a breakout 57-point junior season. 102 of Sikura's 137 career points (74%) have come in his last 67 games (1.52 points per game).

Sikura's electric start to the season made him the first player since 2012-13 to record a multi-point effort in each of his team's first six games, and one of two players in the nation to reach 14 points in that span since 2012-13.

Dynamic duo
Junior Adam Gaudette and senior Dylan Sikura and have picked up right where they left off a season ago, recording 51 and 45 points apiece, respectively, making Northeastern the only team in the NCAA to have two players with at least 40 points this season.

They've combined for the highest points per game average among two teammates in the NCAA this season at 3.00 (points/team games played). They, with Nolan Stevens, also make NU the only team in the country to have three players combine for at least 110 points and one of eight teams in the NCAA with at least three 30-point scorers.

In the 88 games that the two have played on the same line, Gaudette and Sikura have combined for 214 points (Gaudette: 53-52-105; Sikura: 38-71-109), leading NU to a 50-26-12 record in those games.

Last weekend, Gaudette and Sikura joined an elite group of Huskies: only 10 players in Northeastern history have ever recorded 100 points over two seasons.

Since Jan. 1, Gaudette leads the nation with 26 points (15 goals, 11 assists), while Sikura is second in overall scoring and first in assists (six goals, 17 assists), and Stevens tied for ninth in scoring (10 goals, seven assists).

Prime'd for success
Freshman Cayden Primeau has acclimated himself to the college game, earning starts in 26 of Northeastern's 32 games and posting a 15-6-5 mark, already tied for the ninth most in Northeastern single-season history. The Voorhees, N.J. native is tied for seventh in save percentage (.927) and eighth in goals against average (1.97). He is one of two rookie netminders with 15 victories in the NCAA.

Primeau has allowed one goal or fewer in 14 games this season, the most for a Northeastern team since the 2008-09 season. He's also tied for 13th in the nation with three shutouts, one shy of tying the program record for freshman shutouts, set by Brad Thiessen in 2006-07.
