BOSTON –
Matilda Weiler traveled over 3,500 miles to come and swim for Northeastern. For the Swedish native, it was never a question of whether she wanted to come to the United States for college, but a matter of where.
"It was a goal for me, to see the world and still get an education," Weiler said.
Weiler enjoyed a standout freshman campaign with the Huskies, etching her name in the history books on the second day of competition at the CAA Championship, taking the CAA title in the 200 individual medley. She was the first Husky in program history to win this event at the CAA Championships.

"It has been my home away from home."
This is her story.
