BOSTON – Riding the thrill of Friday's five-set comeback victory against UNCW, the Northeastern women's volleyball team will look to string back-to-back league wins together at home on Sunday, Oct. 13, when the Huskies entertain College of Charleston during a 1 p.m. match.

Series Edge: Northeastern and College of Charleston have met annually as CAA rivals since 2013, when the two programs contested the league championship match. The Huskies trail the all-time series against the Cougars, 9-4.

20-20 Vision:Â Northeastern freshmen
Evelyn Gonzalez and
Erica Staunton commanded the pins during the Huskies' five-set comeback victory against UNCW, both setting rookie season highs for kills by swinging 20 apiece. Gonzalez added three aces, two blocks and four digs to her breakout line while Staunton totaled 10 of her 20 kills during Northeastern's victorious fourth and fifth sets, hitting at a .370 efficiency across the match.

Can You Dig It:Â Five Northeastern players finished with 10 or more digs during the Huskies' Friday win against the Seahawks.
Clare Lund and
Kayla Martin shared the team lead with 15 digs apiece while
Samantha Shupe (14 digs),
Nicole Magbanua (12) and
Athena Ardila (11) helped NU defend the Huskies' +21 edge in total kills. Lund enters Sunday's match ranked eighth in the CAA in digs per set (3.62).
