BOSTON– The Northeastern field hockey team is back in action at home on Sunday, October 20 when they play host to Bryant at 1 p.m. on Dedham Field.

HUSKIES VS. BRYANT
	- Northeastern and Bryant will square off for the third-straight season, the third time in program history, and the first time on on of the team's home turfs
 
	- In 2017, the Huskies recorded their first 8-1 victory of the year against Bryant, the first win of the season for Northeastern and the 400th of Cheryl Murtagh's career
 
	- Last year the Huskies blanked Bryant 3-0
 
	- Bryant is 2-12 on the season, beginning the season with nine-straight losses before picking up a win over Lehigh
 
	- The Bulldogs recently earned a 4-0 victory against Wagner and will face Sacred Heart on the road Friday night before taking on the Huskies Sunday 
 
	- Taryn Rauff leads the team with four goals while Marijn Jaarsma has played the majority of the time between the pipes allowing 31 goals in 821 minutes for a 2.27 GAA making 77 saves

	- Bryant marks the third opponent from the Northeast Conference that the Huskies will face this season
 
	- The Huskies took on NEC opponents in back-to-back games back at the end of September starting off with a victory against Merrimack and finishing with a win over #23 Fairfield
 
	- In those two contests the Huskies outscored their NEC foes 13-3, including a 7-0 shutout of Merrimack and a 6-3 win over the Stags, the team's first victory over a top-25 opponent since 2014 
 
	- In two contests against the Bulldogs the Huskies are outscoring Bryant 11-1
 
 
	- Last time out
 
 
	- The Huskies had just one contest last week and actually have had nine days off between contests after taking on Towson on the road Friday afternoon
 
	- On Friday, NU got out to a quick 1-0 lead in the 10th minute, but the Tigers were able to even the score before the half
 
	- It was Angela Connolly who finished with the game-winning goal in the 54th minute of action, her first goal of the season, as the Huskies left Maryland with their first CAA win of the year
