- The Minutewomen hold a 21-17-3 series lead over the Huskies and have won the last four games between the two teams
- This season the Minutewomen are led by Georgie McTear, who has tallied three goals and three assists for nine total points
- A couple of Minutewomen have shared time between the pipes as Marlise van Tonder has played in seven games, starting five and seen 350 minutes of action making 28 saves with a 2.06 GAA while Megan Davies has played and started four games with 160 minutes in goal, 15 saves and a 1.88 GAA
TAMING OF THE HENS
- The Huskies will begin their final weekend of regular season action at Delaware, who Northeastern has faced 30 times in the past and holds a 17-13 series lead
- The two squads met just once last season, a 4-3 tight victory in favor of the 16th ranked Blue Hens
- Delaware has won the last seven meetings between the two squads

- Ranked vs. Ranked
- This weekend #25 Northeastern will square off against #11 Delaware in the CAA Opener on Sunday afternoon
- This marks the first time a ranked NU program has gone against a ranked CAA foe since #10 Northeastern took on #23 Drexel on Oct. 26, 2012
- In fact the Huskies faced two ranked CAA foes that year (while also being ranked) initially taking on #20 William & Mary (while being ranked 8th) on Sept. 21
- Fun fact about the 2012 season, the Huskies did not play one single home game, as Dedham Field was under construction
- PLAYER of the Week
- For the first time in program history, a Northeastern freshman has been named CAA PLAYER of the Week
- Lauren Rowe earned the honor after recording five goals and an assist last week, including a natural hat trick against Merrimack
- Rowe had been tabbed Rookie of the Week twice already this season, but never had a freshman been named as the conference's best weekly player
- Additionally, she earned Synapse Sports National honor roll honors for her performance
