BOSTON – Entering her first season at the helm of the Northeastern women's volleyball program, head coach Caitlin Schweihofer revealed the Huskies' 2019 schedule on Friday, announcing a robust slate of opponents that includes five matches against 2018 NCAA tournament teams and 13 matches against programs that ranked among the top 150 in the 2018 RPI.

After opening with an Aug. 24 exhibition match at Boston College, Northeastern will depart for three non-conference away tournaments at Green Bay (Aug. 30-31), at Seton Hall (Sept. 6-7) and at Fairfield and Sacred Heart (Sept. 13-14). Among the Huskies' notable tourney opponents, NU will cross paths with Indiana State (Aug. 30), Ohio (Aug. 31) and Northern Arizona (Sept. 6), which won the 2018 Big Sky championship.

Making their 2019 Cabot Center debut, the Huskies will entertain New Hampshire on Sept. 10 during their first of 11 home regular season matches. NU will then wrap up its non-conference season with featured home matches against Harvard (Sept. 19) and Syracuse (Sept. 20).

Northeastern's CAA schedule – a home-and-home round robin – will begin with four consecutive road matches from Sept. 27 to Oct. 9, setting up a favorable stretch of home matches during the latter part of the season. Eight of the Huskies' final 12 regular season matches will take place at Cabot Center, including a four-match home stand against Towson (Oct. 25), Elon (Oct. 26), William & Mary (Oct. 28) and Hofstra (Nov. 2).

Start times for Northeastern's 2019 home matches will be revealed during the coming weeks.
