BOSTON– The 2019 home season continues on Friday night when the Northeastern field hockey team plays host to Dartmouth at Dedham Field before the Huskies head across town to face Boston University on Sunday afternoon.

HUSKIES VS. THE BIG GREEN
• Northeastern and Dartmouth will meet for the second-straight season after the Huskies picked up a 5-1 victory in Hanover last season
• The Huskies own a 14-2 series lead over the Big Green with their last loss coming in the 1987 season
• Northeastern has won 11-straight over Dartmouth, who marks the first and only Ivy League opponent of the season for the Huskies after facing three Ivies the last two seasons

A DOGFIGHT IN BOSTON
• Northeastern and Boston University have met 49 times in the past with the Huskies holding a 26-23 series lead

• In 2018, the Huskies held BU scoreless in the second half, but fell 4-1 to the Terriers with
Shawn Davenport netting the lone NU goal of the game in the 51st minute

• Meehan netted both of the game winning goals for the Huskies and finished with a four-point weekend

Lauren Rowe had an outstanding Husky debut
• Rowe finished the weekend with six points picking up one goal and three assists in her first two games in the Red and Black
• Rowe had a two-assist outing against Holy Cross Friday night while tallying her first career goal on Sunday against Monmouth, and adding another helper on the game-winning goal in overtime
