BOSTON – Ringing in the start of September, the Northeastern women's volleyball team will trek this weekend to Seton Hall, where the Huskies will compete in the 2019 Seton Hall Classic on Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7. NU is scheduled to face three non-conference foes: Northern Arizona (Friday, 4:30 p.m.), Binghamton (Saturday, 1:30 p.m.) and Seton Hall (Saturday, 7 p.m.).

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
1.
Lund Named to All-Tournament Team:Â Senior libero
Clare Lund was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the 2019 GBD Invite – the Huskies' season-opening tournament (hosted by Green Bay). Lund eclipsed 20 digs for the first two times during her collegiate career, registering a career high, 23 digs, during Northeastern's four-set victory against Indiana State. As of Sept. 5, she leads the CAA in digs per set (4.91).
Â
2.
Season-opening Performances:Â
Natalie Shollin totaled 20 blocks during the Huskies' three-match weekend at the 2019 GBD Invite and co-leads the CAA in the category with UNCW's Kendall Bender. Six Northeastern players landed 15 or more kills, led by
Gabrielle Tschannen and
Brianna Daphnis' 24 kills (2.18 kills per set). Seven Northeastern players made their collegiate debuts at the GBD Invite:
Erica Staunton (20 kills, 2.00 per set),
Nailah Jenkins (15 kills, hit .278),

3.
Huskies Against the Field:Â Northeastern will oppose Northern Arizona for the first time during program history. The Huskies hold a commanding, 7-0 lead in the all-time series against Binghamton, most recently defeating the Bearcats at Cabot Center in September 2016. NU will square off against Seton Hall for the first time since September 2010, when the Huskies extended their lead in the all-time series to 4-2 courtesy of their four-set victory at Walsh Gymnasium.
