BOSTON – Northeastern (1-3, 0-0 CAA) heads to No. 16 Boston College (3-4, 0-3 ACC) for a midweek match on Wednesday that will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
ROWE AWARDED
Sophomore
Lauren Rowe was named CAA Player of the Week to open the season after scoring three goals in the first two games. Rowe led the Huskies last season with 16 goals and 11 assists in 19 games and finished the 2019 season earning CAA Rookie of the Year, All-CAA First Team, CAA All-Rookie Team, NFHCA All-Region First Team, ECAC Rookie of the Year, All-ECAC Team, NFHCA National Academic Squad and Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
MAKING STRIDES

Erin Savage has taken the reigns in goal starting all four games on the season and registering 24 saves including a career-high nine against UMass Lowell. Sophomores

Cailin Hart, plus freshman
Mak Graves have all tallied their first career goals this season.
SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE
Northeastern leads the overall series between the two teams 23-18-1 and the Eagles have won eight of the last 10 matchups. The Eagles return to play this spring season after a full schedule of ACC competition in the 2020 fall season. In their most recent game, Boston College defeated Vermont 3-0 off of two goals from 2019 All-American Fusine Govert. The Eagles return with multiple standouts from the 2019 season including Margo Carlin, 2019 All-American and ACC Freshman of the Year, who has one goal and four assists this season. Seniors Jaime Natale and Elizabeth Warner currently lead Boston College in scoring with four goals each. Jonna Kennedy has held down the backfield for the Eagles tallying 52 saves between the 2020 fall and 2021 spring season.
