RICHMOND, Va. - Lauren Rowe was named CAA Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday. The sophomore scored three of the Huskies' four goals in their two opening games of the season. In the home-opener, she scored Northeastern's lone goal against UMass and would then go on to notch two goals over Bryant in a 3-1 win.
Rowe led the Huskies last season with 16 goals and 11 assists in 19 games. Rowe finished the 2019 season earning CAA Rookie of the Year, All-CAA First Team, CAA All-Rookie Team, NFHCA All-Region First Team, ECAC Rookie of the Year, All-ECAC Team, NFHCA National Academic Squad and Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
Rowe and the Huskies will head to UMass Lowell on Friday for a 1 p.m. start.
