BOSTON – The Northeastern volleyball team (10-10, 8-4 CAA) is set to continue CAA play on the road at Hofstra (15-9, 12-0 CAA) on Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6. Both matches are slated for 1 pm, and can be watched on FloVolleyball.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- APPROACHING 1,000: Senior outside hitter Erica Staunton is closing in on the 1,000 career kills milestone with 972. Staunton continues to pace the Northeastern offense with double-digit kills in all matches so far this season except two.
- HOW SWEEP IT IS: The Huskies have won four straight CAA matches, completing weekend sweeps over Stony Brook and North Carolina A&T. Highlighting the streak, Northeastern swept the Aggies in three sets on Monday, October 31.
- POSTSEASON BOUND: After the Huskies five-set win over the Aggies on Saturday, Northeastern clinched a spot in the CAA Tournament. The tournament will be held on November 17-19 at SECU Arena in Towson.
After Hofstra, the Huskies will host William & Mary on Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13 (Senior Day).
