BOSTON – The Northeastern field hockey team will hit the road for two matchups this weekend against Ivy League opponents. The Huskies will start the weekend on Friday, Sep. 9 at 3 p.m., when they take on the Big Green of Dartmouth at Chase Field in Hanover, N.H.; On Sunday, Sep. 11 at 1 p.m., Northeastern will head down south to matchup with Brown at Goldberger Family Field in Providence, R.I. Both contests will be streamed on ESPN+.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
1. Feels like Home: The Huskies have had great success on the road against both schools, holding a 7-1 record at Dartmouth and a 7-3 record at Brown.
2. Not the First Time: Northeastern will face off with the Big Green for the 19th time and with the Bears for the 24th time in program history. The Huskies own a 16-2 record over Dartmouth and a 19-4 record over Brown. Northeastern has won the previous 10 contests over the Big Green and the past eight meetings with the Bears.
3. Build on it: The Huskies will look to build off a convincing 7-0 win over Stonehill last Sunday to get in the win column for the first time this season.
Northeastern will return home next weekend on Sunday, Sep. 18 at 12 p.m., for a meeting with Maine at Dedham Field. The game will be streamed on NESN+.
