BOSTON – Northeastern volleyball head coach
Lenika Vazquez is thrilled to announce the elevation of Mary Hauser to an Assistant Coach on Tuesday. Hauser previously served as Director of Operations.

As Director of Operations with Northeastern, Hauser was responsible for off-court duties such as planning trips, organizing itineraries, and coordinating schedules for the coaches and team.
Prior to joining the Huskies, Hauser completed an internship with WIAA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletics Association, where she attended administrative meetings, and presented projects to staff relating to high school athletics.
A standout volleyball player, Hauser played her graduate season with Texas A&M Corpus Christi on the beach volleyball team and was named to the All-Conference Second Team. Prior to a stint with Islanders, Hauser played her undergraduate seasons with Wisconsin. With the Badgers she played in 126 matches, collected 123 assists, and 798 digs. She also earned the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award and Steve Lowe Award as a senior. Hauser is a Big Ten Conference Champion with Wisconsin, and NCAA Volleyball National Championship Runner-Up in 2019.
Hauser earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders in May 2020, and went on to receive her Master's in Sports Management at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in December 2022.
