Huskies Set to Head To The Bryant Invitational

BOSTON – The Northeastern volleyball team is set to continue non-conference action at the Bryant Invitational on Friday, September 1 through Saturday, September 2. The Huskies will face Lafayette on Friday at 7 p.m., and then play Siena on Saturday at 4 p.m. followed by host Bryant at 7 p.m. All matches will be streamed on AETV.
  1. STRONG START FOR RECK – Freshman Abby Reck got her collegiate career off to a strong start at the Wake Forest Invitational this last weekend. Reck tallied a team-high 13 kills against Toledo, seven kills vs. Grand Canyon, and six kills against Wake Forest.  
  2. APPROACHING 1,500 – Junior setter Jessica Frannea is approaching 1,500 assists with 1,402. Frannea is averaging 9.16 assists per set through her three years of action with the Huskies, and tallied doubled digit assists in every game at the Wake Forest Invitational to kick off the 2023 season.
  3. CAN YOU DIG IT? – Graduate student Julianna Truscott leads the Huskies with 33 digs. Truscott got was strong on defense in her Husky debut against Toledo with a team-high 18 digs, and then notched double-digits again with 11 against Grand Canyon.
After Bryant, the Huskies will host the Northeastern Tournament on Thursday, September 7 through Saturday, September 9.
