THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. KEEPIN IT FRESH – Outside hitter Jane Nelson had a strong performance for the Huskies down in Delaware last weekend. The freshman tallied seven kills on Saturday, and then followed up with 12 kills on Sunday. Nelson has tallied double-digit kills in four matches this season, highlighted by a career-high 17 against Dartmouth.
  2. NICE TO SEA YOU – Since Stony Brook joined CAA play in 2022, the Huskies have won the past four matchups against the Seawolves. The two teams met last season down on Long Island as NU capped off the weekend in style with a thrilling reverse sweep.
  3. WHAT'S A SEAWOLF? – Stony Brook is coming off a weekend sweep over the Elon Phoenix, and have won its last three matches. The Seawolves are averaging 12.9 kills per set, and are led by Kali Moore with 349 total kills, averaging 4.06 per set.
After Stony Brook, the Huskies will head to Towson on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3.
