Volleyball Set To Head To Towson

BOSTON - The Northeastern volleyball team (8-12, 6-6 CAA) is set to hit the road to face the Towson Tigers (18-4, 9-3 CAA) on Saturday, November 2 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, November, November 3 at 2 p.m. Both matches will stream on FloVolleyball.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. LAST TIME OUT – In their annual Dig Pink match, the Huskies snapped a five-game losing streak with a thrilling five-set victory over Stony Brook. Brynn Smith paced NU with 18 kills and 18 digs, recording her third double-double of the season. Millie Loehr also had a strong performance for Northeastern with 13 kills on .375 hitting with four blocks.
  2. THAT'S OUR LIBERO – In the back row, Nadia Koanui continues to impress in her first season as a Husky. In Saturday's win, the junior had a sensational performance with a career-high 32 digs. The Kapolei, Hawaii native has tallied double-digit digs in 18 matches this season, and is second in the CAA with 347 total digs (4.69 per set).
  3. THE TIGERS – Towson is coming off an undefeated weekend, taking down the Elon Phoenix in four sets on Saturday, and then straight sets on Sunday. The Tigers are 22-25 all-time against the Huskies, and have won the past eight matchups. Victoria Barrett paces Towson with 337 total kills, averaging 4.11 per set.
 After Towson, the Huskies will host Campbell on Saturday, November 9 for their Alumni Game and Sunday, November 10 for Senior Day.
