BOSTON – The Northeastern volleyball team (8-14, 6-8 CAA) is set to host Campbell (6-18, 4-10 CAA) on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10. Both matches are slated for 2 p.m. on FloVolleyball.
Northeastern will be welcoming alums back to Huntington Ave in its Alumni Game on Saturday, and will honor its seniors for Senior Day on Sunday.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- LAST TIME OUT – Brynn Smith tallied a team-high 11 kills, but the Huskies fell to the Towson Tigers in three sets on Sunday afternoon at TU Arena. Kinley Gomez added eight kills and 10 digs, and Nadia Koanui continued her strong play from the back row with a team-high 14 digs.
- THANK YOU, SENIORS – Prior to Sunday's match, Northeastern will be honor its six seniors: Carly Cooper, Jessica Frannea, Kinley Gomez, Sahitya Krishnamurthy, Millie Loehr, and Georgia Stavrinides. Frannea, Gomez, and Krishnamurthy have been with the Huskies all four years while Cooper, Loehr and Stavrinides spent their graduate seasons as Huskies.
- FINAL STRETCH – With two weeks left in the regular season, five of the six spots in the CAA Tournament are locked in. Stony Brook currently sits in sixth with a record of 7-7, while the Huskies are right behind at 6-8. The Seawolves are facing Towson at home this weekend and hold the tiebreaker over NU with more sets won in their head-to-head matches with the Huskies this season.
The Huskies will close out the regular season at Charleston on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16.
