BOSTON – The Northeastern volleyball team hits the road for its final series of the regular season this weekend, traveling to Buies Creek, N.C., to face Campbell on Friday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW

. LAST TIME OUT WITH THE CAMELS– In the most recent meeting between the Huskies and the Camels last season, Northeastern defeated Campbell in back-to-back four set wins at home. In match one, NU opened the series with a 3-1 victory (25-16, 17-25, 25-17, 25-17) before securing the sweep in match two, again by prevailing 3-1 (25-14, 19-25, 26-24, 25-19). The Huskies offense was paced by
Brynn Smith with 15 kills, and the defensive efforts featured 38 digs from
Nadia Koanui.

SEASON STAT LEADERS – The Huskies continue to showcase strong individual and team performances across the board.
Beatrice Gennari leads the CAA with a .401 hitting percentage while totaling 144 kills and 15 blocks, which ties her second in the conference.
Nadia Koanui anchors the defense with 356 digs, ranking fourth among all CAA players. As a team, Northeastern sits near the top of the league standings – ranking third in total digs (1,191), fourth in aces per set (1.66), third in blocks per set (2.13) and top four in both total kills (1,083) and kills per set (13.05).

CELEBRATING WITH THE BEST – This past weekend, Northeastern welcomed back former players for Alumni Day, in addition to honoring their three graduates,
Nadia Koanui,
Svenja Rodenbüsch and
Ellie Williams, for Senior Day. On the court, NU powered through a dominant weekend, winning both matches in straight sets. In match one, the Huskies posted a 3-0 victory (25-15, 25-18, 25-21) behind 49 kills and a .314 hitting percentage. On day two of the weekend, the Huskies closed out the series with another sweep (25-10, 25-16, 25-23), highlighted by 23 kills from
Emma Rowell and 45 assists from
Arina Sosinovica.
The Huskies will close out the regular season at home, hosting Hofstra for a CAA series on Friday, Nov. 14 (1 p.m.) and Saturday, Nov. 15 (3 p.m.) at the Cabot Center.
