AMESBURY, Mass. – Junior Dylan Hryckowian of the No. 12/11 Northeastern men's hockey team was named the Hockey East Player of the Month for November, earning his first monthly honor from the league.
Hryckowian tallied ten points on five goals and five assists, recording the most points of any skater in Hockey East during the month. His five goals tied for second in the league as he helped lead the Huskies to a 4-3 record in November, with losses coming only to ranked opponents.
The Quebec native added 27 shots, four blocks and a plus-four rating in seven contests. He averaged 1.43 points per game while collecting two three-point outings and registered a two-goal game to single-handedly force overtime against No. 18/19 Boston University.
He enters December on a hot streak, having posted five points in his last two games, averaging 2.5 points per game.
Hryckowian and the Huskies return to action with a two-game series against UMass at Matthews Arena on Saturday (Dec. 6) and Sunday (Dec. 7).
