NU Adds Three More All-Time Outdoor Marks On Final Day Of UCF Black & Gold Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Northeastern track and field team continued their hot start to the outdoor season, setting three more top ten all-time outdoor marks on the final day of the UCF Gold & Black Invitational Saturday afternoon. The Huskies finished the trip with seven new marks on the All-Time Outdoor Performance List.

  • The Husky relay team of sophomores Savannah Blair and Victoria Knight, freshman Cora Kunze, and junior Ariann Robinson set the tone from the get-go. The four ran a 45.75 in the women's 4x100m to earn seventh place and set the second-fastest time on the All-Time Outdoor Performance List.
  • The men's 4x100 relay team finished fourth in their race, crossing the line at 40.33 for the sixth fastest time in outdoor program history.
  • Freshman Sloan Hinton ran a 2:15.03 in the women's 800m and finished 24th.
  • Robinson's 55.82 in the women's 400m secured 22nd place, and sophomore Alex Landry's 49.87 in the men's 400m earned him a top 50 finish.
  • In the women's 100m, Blair blazed her way to seventh with a new personal best and All-Time Outdoor Performance time of 11.72. Knight followed with a 31st-place finish (12.11), and Kunze took 43rd (12.22).
  • Sophomore Brunner Williams set a new personal best in the men's 100m, clocking a 10.66 for 16th. Graduate student Noah Sweeney finished 35th with a time of 10.95.

The Huskies are back on the road next week as they prepare to compete in the Texas and Raleigh Relays. The Texas Relays kick off Wednesday, March 26 and the Raleigh Relays on Thursday, March 27.
