Huskies Travel To Maine, No. 5 Harvard Back At Home

BOSTON — The Northeastern field hockey team (3-2) travels to Maine on Friday before returning home to face local opponent No. 5 Harvard on Sunday. The Huskies play Maine at 3 p.m. Friday and then close the weekend Sunday against Harvard at noon for the Mental Health Awareness game. Friday's game will be available on ESPN+, and Sunday's will be streamed on FloCollege.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. YOUNG DAWG — Freshman defender Lucy Walton has started each of the first four games this season, logging a full 60 minutes in each. The freshman from Norwich, England, not only defends but has also scored a goal this season.
  2. HOCKEY HISTORY — Northeastern faces Maine for the 41st time. The Huskies hold a 27-12-1 edge in the all-time series against the Black Bears. On Sunday, the team will play No. 5 Harvard for the 42nd time. The Huskies also hold an edge in that all-time series, 24-17-0.
  3. LOOKING AHEAD — The Huskies are set to battle four currently ranked teams, including No. 5 Harvard on Sunday. Following that local matchup, the Huskies will play Boston College, Monmouth and Maryland.
Next week, the Huskies take a road trip to Towson on Friday, Sept. 26.
