The Northeastern volleyball team swept Dartmouth 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in the Huskies final match of the 2002 Crimson Classic at Harvard in Cambridge, Mass. NU went 1-2 at the two-day event.
The Huskies were led offensively by freshman Larissa Adomat (14 kills) and senior Erin Spangler (14 kills). Setter Kristin Ursillo had a solid all-around match with eight kills, 43 assists and seven digs. Libero Kelly Cognac was the defensive leader with 11 digs.
Northeastern dominated the match from beginning to end, winning in three straight games, 30-24, 30-17 and 30-21. NU outhit Dartmouth .404 to .192.
Next up for NU is its first America East contest of the season as the Huskies host rival New Hampshire on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Solomon Court.
