Northeastern defeated America East rival Binghamton 3-2 (30-26, 29-31, 27-30, 30-26, 18-16) on Saturday night. The Huskies improved their record to 21-7 on the season and 9-1 in conference play.
Freshman Whitney Turner led the Huskies with 23 kills and 10 digs. Senior captain Kristin Ursillo paced the Husky offense with 59 assists. Rebecca Holland recorded a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs.
NU's next action comes this Friday when they square off against America East rival Hartford. Match time is 7 p.m. at Solomon Court.
