Northeastern defeated Colgate Friday night at Solomon Court 3-0. The Huskies upped thier record to 2-5 while the Raiders fell to 0-8.
Northeastern was led by senior Kristin Ursillo, who paced the Northeastern attack with 40 assists. Sophomore Larissa Adomat led NU with 13 kills.
Colgate was led by sophomore Caity Whiteaker, who recorded 10 kills. Allie Nichols, a sophmore setter, controlled Colgate's offense with 22 assists.
Northeastern is coming off a West Coast trip in which the Huskies finished 1-5 against some of the best teams in the nation. The Huskies will be competing twice on Saturday at Solomon Court. They face Towson at 1 p.m. and Furman at 7 p.m.
