The Huskies won their third straight game Saturday night, defeating UNH 3-1 (30-21, 27-30, 30-27, 30-27) at Solomon Court as part of the BC/NU Challenge. Lauren DeTurk led the way with 23 kills, while Britney Brown had 30 assists. Northeastern returns to the court next Friday against Middle Tennessee in the Blue Raider Bash at 2 p.m.

Brown was not the only one to rack up the assists on Saturday, as fellow freshman Anna Broscheit notched 25 helpers. Caitlin Tittl contributed 10 kills, while senior Kira Batura had nine and Brown added eight.

DeTurk had an impressive first game, hitting .750 (10-12) in helping Northeastern take the first game. After UNH took game two, Northeastern took a 2-1 lead in the match as DeTurk had six kills and five other players had at least two.

In game four, the Huskies closed out the match behind five kills each from Tittl and DeTurk.
