The Huskies dropped a 3-0 (30-32, 16-30, 29-31) decision to Eastern Michigan Saturday afternoon at the Albany Classic in Albany, N.Y. Kira Batura and Lauren DeTurk again recorded double digit kills, while Britney Brown once again led the way in assists with 22. Eastern Michigan improves to 9-5 on the season. Northeastern returns to the court Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Rhode Island at Solomon Court.

In game one, Eastern Michigan overcame a 19-13 deficit and six kills from DeTurk to take game one. After taking game two, Eastern Michigan held off the Huskies in game three to take the match.

Jessica Tkachuk also had a solid match, contributing 12 assists, while Leah Neubeck had 19 digs. Batura and Brown had 12 and 10 digs respectively. Eastern Michigan's Katie Bates and Becky Renders led all players with 13 kills.
