The Huskies earned a spilt on Saturday at the Blue Raider Bash, defeating Texas-Arlington 3-1 (19-30, 30-26, 30-27, 30-27) in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Kira Batura led all players with 21 kills, while Caitlin Tittl hit .556 with 11 kills. Freshman Britney Brown led all Huskies with 35 assists. Northeastern returns to action next Wednesday when they take on the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn.

Northeastern dropped the first game 30-19, but Northeastern rallied in impressive fashion to win the match. Northeastern pulled even in game two with a balanced effort. Batura led the way with six kills, but four other players, Tittl, Brown, Sarah Stein, and Lauren DeTurk had three kills. The Huskies trailed in this game 11-16, but won 19 of the game's final 26 points to take the game.

In game three, Northeastern hit .289 as a team, their highest percentage of the match, en route to a 30-27 win. This game was tied at 20, but the Huskies again closed strong by winning 10 of the game's final 17 points to take a 2-1 lead in the match.

In game four, Northeastern trailed 23-26, but finished strong one final time to take the game, 30-27.

Tittl, who had 22 kills and 14 block assists, was named to the All-Tournament Team.
