BC piled nine runs on the Huskies in the first four innings, cruising to  a 9-3 win over NU. 
Frank Compagnone drilled an RBI triple in the first  inning and 
Matt Miller smashed a two-run home run in the third, but it  was not enough to take down a strong Eagles lineup.
Kevin Ferguson was solid out of the bullpen, tossing five innings  allowing only a three-run home run. He scattered six hits and issued no  walks. 
Chris Carmain finished the game off with a perfect ninth inning.
The Huskies started the game with a bang in the bottom of the first. 
 Alan Pastyrnak singled up the middle with one out. 
Tony DiCesare  grounded into a fielder's choice and scored from first on the next play  when Compagnone drove a 1-1 pitch deep into left center field.  Compagnone dove safely into third base for his first triple of 2010.
BC answered the next inning with an RBI triple of its own to tie the  score at 1-1. The Eagles took the lead for good in the third inning,  tagging starter 
JT Ross for five runs on four hits.
NU, down 6-1 heading to the bottom of the third, staged a small  comeback. 
Ryan Maguire drew a four pitch walk, setting up Miller's blast  to right that brought the score within three, 6-3. The home run was  Miller's second bomb of the season and the third of his career.  Pastyrnak ripped his second single of the day following Miller, but the  Huskies went down one-two-three after the single, ending the inning down  6-3.
The Huskies mustered just two more hits the rest of the game, both  coming in the sixth inning. DiCesare led off the inning with a single to  right and pinch-hitter 
Logan Gillis whacked a single of his own. The  Eagles' relief staff kept NU at bay the remainder of the game, locking  down a 9-3 victory.
Ross takes his fourth loss of the season. Dave Laufer, a junior RHP for  BC, nabbed his second win of the season.
The Huskies return to action on Saturday in a CAA double header against  UNC-Wilmington at Friedman Diamond. Game one, featuring 
Les Williams on  the mound, is slated the start at 11 a.m. Following Williams in game two  will be 
Charly Bashara, who is getting just his second start of 2010.
