Tony DiCesare batted 3-for-4 and reached base four times, but the Huskies couldn't push a run across, losing to William & Mary 2-0 in Williamsburg, Va. It was the second time in as many days that the Tribe has shut out NU, taking the series win heading into tomorrow's finale. Andrew Leenhouts tossed five scoreless inning before getting touched up for two runs and pulled from the game before the sixth inning.

DiCesare accounted for half the Huskies' hits, recording two doubles and a single. He was stranded at second base each time he got a hit, as the Tribe pitchers and defense didn't allow a runner past second base the whole game.

Pinch-hitter Jeff Dunlap, left fielder David Gustafson and shortstop Ryan Maguire each logged singles on the day, though none of them came in the same inning as each other.

Tribe starting pitcher Logan Billbrough nearly went the distance, throwing 8-1/3 innings before leaving the game. He allowed five hits and issued five walks while striking out six Huskies. The win moves him to 5-2 on the year.

Leenhouts racked up eight strikeouts in his 5 2/3 innings, but allowed seven hits and five walks. The loss sends Leenhouts to a 2-2 record. Reliever Dan Zehr tossed 2 1/3 innings, striking out one while allowing one baserunner, which he subsequently picked off.

Game three between NU and William & Mary is tomorrow at 1 p.m. Live stats and radio from Williamsburg will be available.
