BOSTON -- Following a 3-2 double-overtime win against No. 8 Boston College, the Northeastern Huskies will hit the road to take on CAA rival Drexel on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. Including postseason action, this will be the fifth time these two teams meet in the last three seasons. NU has a 2-2 record over the previous four games. The Huskies will be looking to start 2-0 in conference play for the first time since the program joined the CAA in 2005.
Last time outThe Huskies defeated the No. 8 ranked Boston College Eagles in a thrilling double-overtime game at Dedham Field.

Emma Lamison all scored for the Red and Black in the victory, while
Becky Garner made six saves to help secure the win. The pivotal moment of the match occurred with a little more than five minutes remaining in the second half. Head coach
Cheryl Murtagh pulled her goalkeeper in favor of the extra attacker, allowing the Huskies to score the game-tying goal with 2:41 remaining. Lamison went onto score the game-winner with 9:21 left on the clock in the second overtime period. The Huskies pushed their winning streak to 10 games with the victory.

Emma Lamison was named the Colonial Athletic Association's Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
NU defeats Boston rivalsFor just the fifth time in program history, the Huskies defeated all three of their crosstown rivals -- Boston College, Boston University and Harvard.
Early road success for NUNortheastern has started 5-0 on the road for the first time since the 2005 season; the team went 16-6 that year. The Huskies have started 5-0 on the road only two other times in program history (1981, 2005). NU is outscoring its opponents 11-4 when playing away from home this season.
Bouncing backFollowing wins against Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Harvard, Boston University, Hofstra and now Boston College, the Huskies are 6-0 against teams they suffered defeats to a year ago.
On the horizonNortheastern will enjoy a week off following the team's game against the Drexel Dragons. The Huskies return home on Sunday, Oct. 19 to take on New England rival Maine at 2 p.m.
