BOSTON – The Northeastern field hockey team will round out its regular season at home this year taking on both Drexel and Delaware at Dedham Field this upcoming weekend.

The Huskies begin the weekend against Drexel on Friday night at 6 p.m. followed by Community Day and Senior Day on Sunday against No. 7 Delaware at 2 p.m.

The Huskies will honor the three seniors of the 2017 senior class as well as Northeastern's head coach
Cheryl Murtagh in their final home game at Dedham Field.

LAST TIME OUT
• Last weekend, the Huskies kep their streak of facing ranked opponents going when they took on No. 16 JMU and No. 19 Saint Joseph's
• On Friday, Northeastern headed to Harrisonburg for a meeting with the Dukes. After holding JMU to just a goal in the first half, the Dukes burst out for a 4-0 win
• The Huskies headed back home to take on Saint Joseph's in their final non-conference game on Sunday. Despite St. Joe's getting out to a 3-1 lead, Northeastern battled back thanks to a pair of goals by
Jamie Bartucca to tie the game at 3-all before the Hawks earned the late goal for the win

DREXEL
• The Dragons are 6-11 on the season and 1-3 in CAA play this season
• The Dragons are led by Tess Horan and Tess Bernheimer who each have five goals and two assists on the year while Erin Gilchrist has played every minute in goal posting a 2.87 GAA and making 136 saves
• Drexel and NU met for the first time in 1991 when Drexel joined the America East
• After Drexel left for the CAA in 2001, the teams took a hiatus, restarting the series when the Huskies joined the CAA in 2005.
• Northeastern leads the series between the two teams 17-8-1
• Drexel has won the last two by a one-goal margin, eking out an OT victory last year

• Delaware enters its game with an 11-4 record and are 4-0 in CAA action
• The Blue Hens are led by Greta Nauck who has 17 goals and 4 assists for 38 points while Taylor Lister has give goals and 17 assists on the year
• In goal, Emmeline Oltmans has played the majority of time making 41 saves & a 1.89 GAA
• Delaware and Northeastern have faced off 27 times in the past with the Huskies holding on to a 17-10 series lead
• The two teams met for the first time in the 1991 season, a 4-1 victory for the Huskies
• In CAA play, Northeastern holds a 7-6 record over the Blue Hens, though Delaware has won the last five meetings

SENIOR DAY
• The Huskies will honor four people on Sunday afternoon prior to the regular season finale against No. 7 Delaware at Dedham Field beginning at 1:45 p.m.
• In the pregame ceremony, three seniors and one very special head coach will be honored for their achievements during their time as Huskies

Kristin Abreu came to Northeastern from Maraval, Trinidad and has played in 62 games over her four-year career scoring 10 goals and six assists during that time while being a fixture in the Husky midfield
•
Jamie Bartucca, a Farmington, Conn. native was named a Preseason All-CAA honoree in 2017 and has been chosen for the NFHCA Senior Game. This season she has followed up her double-digit scoring effort from last year (10) with another 15 goals and seven assists which has been at the top of the CAA and the country in 2017
•
Mia Martin hails from Williamsville, N.Y. and has played in 47 games as a Husky stepping into a starting role this season aiding the Northeastern attack

Cheryl Murtagh, the Northeastern head coach for the last 30 seasons, will be at the helm for her final home game on Sunday afternoon. A high school and collegiate All-American, Murtagh has compiled 406 victories, 18 conference titles, 16 NCAA Tournament appearances and three trips to the Final Four during her Northeastern career

• When the Huskies take on No. 7 Delaware Sunday it will mark the eighth ranked team Northeastern will face in the 2017 season.
• The Huskies are coming off of a span of taking on five-straight ranked teams dating back to Oct. 9 and the Huskies will face ranked teams in seven of their final nine games
• Nine teams Northeastern has faced or will face this season are currently ranked in the NFHCA Coaches Poll
• In the last six seasons, the Huskies have taken on 41 ranked teams, including 12 in the 2012 season alone

Jamie Bartucca leads the Husky scorers and has a career-high 15 goals through 17 games, which ranks 2nd in the CAA and 15th in the nation with 0.88 gpg in 2017
• Bartucca has also added seven assists on the year for a total of 37 points, or 2.18 per game which also ranks 2nd in the conference and 17th nationallyÂ
• Bartucca's 15 goals are the most scored by a Husky since All-American Crystal Poland had 28 in 2012
