Kristen Walding combined for 20 assists on the match. Junior
Gabrielle Eyl tallied up 20 digs from the back row.

Eyl was named to the Pepperdine/CSUN Challenge All-Tournament team. The Colorado native finished the weekend with 81 digs and 10 assists.

Set One Recap:
- 26-24, CSUN
- The Huskies took an early 2-1 lead with Underdown's sixth ace of the season
- Tschannen's kill broke up CSUN's 4-0 run, Matadors led 7-5
- Northeastern tied the set at 24-24 with an Ardila-Shollin block and a Shollin kill
- An ace from CSUN's Kristey Markle gave the Matadors the first set win

- The Matadors took an early 8-2 lead
- A block and a kill from Brigitte Burcescu helped cut CSUN's lead to eight
- CSUN took the second set to take a 2-0 match lead

- The Huskies took an early 5-0 lead with kills from Ardila and Burcescu
- CSUN came back to tie the game at 20-20
- The Matadors took the match with a 25-22 third set win
Up Next For Northeastern:
The Huskies will head to Rhode Island for the Art Carmichael Invitational. Northeastern will face off against Rhode Island on September 8 at 7 p.m.
