Natalie Shollin, had a strong showing on Saturday morning, tallying 10.5 points, eight kills and a .368 hitting percentage.

The Golden Bears set off an early lead over the Huskies in the first set, but NU was able to tie the score at six. From there, the Howlin' Huskies hung tough onto the Golden Bears' lead, but it was not enough to take the set. Cal won set one, 25-18.

The Huskies held close to the Golden Bears in the second set, even taking the lead toward the middle of the set. After being tied at 13, Cal pulled ahead and eventually won the set, 25-17.

NU took a 6-3 lead early in the third set that quickly led to an eight point tie between the two teams. Midway through the set, the Cal bench warranted a yellow card. After a late set timeout, the Golden Bears pulled ahead, 25-19.
