BOSTON – The Northeastern volleyball team (4-5) will head to Durham, N.H. on Tuesday for their first single-game match of the season against New Hampshire (4-6). The match is set for 7 p.m. and will be aired on ESPNplus.

SHUPE SETS HIGHS

Samantha Shupe leads the Huskies in assists for the 2018 season, with 310 and averages 10.0 assists per set.

• The sophomore setter additionally assists the Huskies on defense with 60 digs this season -- 28 coming this past weekend at the Fairfield Invite.

• The Huskies are only one-third of the way through the 2018 season, and Shupe is on par to surpass her 615 assists from 2017 by 315 more. She has already tallied more kills and points than last year.

• Shupe has broken her personal records four times this season with 52 assists vs. Central Connecticut, five blocks, six kills and 9.5 points against Nicholls State.

ROOKIE SUCCESS
• Freshman,
Hannah Boyd, leads the Huskies in attacks this season with 303 total attacks and 97 kills across nine matches.

• Boyd places sixth on Northeastern's list for defense and blocks with 35 digs and 7.0 blocks. She is tied for sixth for serves with five service aces.

NORTHEASTERN VS. NEW HAMPSHIREÂ
• The Huskies and Wildcats have an extensive history between them, having played 32 matches and were in the same conference for ten years.

• Northeastern leads the rivalry, 18-14, with their first match dating back to Nov. 11, 1995 when the Huskies played in Durham and won, 3-0.

• Of the past five meetings, the Howlin' Huskies have won 4. Their only loss came in 2015 and went to five sets.

• UNH plays in the America East Conference that Northeastern left in 2005. While they were conference competitors, the Wildcats were 13-9 against the Huskies.
