RICHMOND, Va. – Recognized for their outstanding play during the 2019 regular season, three Northeastern field hockey players garnered year-end all-conference honors on Thursday, as announced during the league's postseason awards presentation.

Freshman back Lauren Rowe was named the 2019 CAA Rookie of the Year and earned placement onto the All-CAA First Team alongside junior forward Camille O'Conor. First-year forward Alli Meehan celebrated her selection to the All-CAA Second Team, also joining Rowe on the CAA All-Rookie Team.

LAUREN ROWE
Rowe enjoyed a breakout year in the CAA, setting the program's freshman goals record (16) while logging 11 assists and the team high, 43 points. The Norwich, England, native was the anchor for the Huskies' high-powered offense that led the CAA with 3.24 goals and 2.12 assists per game. As of Nov. 7, Rowe's CAA-leading 16 goals rank in a tie for the seventh most among NCAA Division I players while her 2.53 points per game average ranks as the fourth highest mark in the nation.

Rowe notched her first career hat trick during Northeastern's memorable 8-1 thrashing against Dartmouth (Sept. 6) – one of five games during which she scored multiple goals for the Huskies this season.

CAMILLE O'CONOR
O'Conor's 2019 appearance on the All-CAA First Team marked her second consecutive all-conference selection, having been named to the 2018 All-CAA Second Team. After posting seven goals and five assists last season, the ever-clutch O'Conor pushed her goal total to eight during the 2019 season while managing to contribute three assists.

The NU junior finished the year with seven multi-point games for the Huskies, scoring the team's game-winning goal at Fairfield on Sept. 27.

ALLI MEEHAN
Meehan's freshman campaign was nothing short of outstanding for the Huskies. She notched 27 points for the NU offense, ranking second on the team and third among CAA players in the category. Her 11 goals during the 2019 season tied for the third most in the CAA, ranking her two positions behind her Northeastern rookie teammate, Rowe.

Meehan was often dependable during late-game situations for Northeastern, scoring four game-winning goals – a tie for the second most in the conference.
