RICHMOND, Va. – Freshman
Lara Taylor was named CAA Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
- Taylor played a pivotal role in two CAA games for the Huskies over the weekend.
- In the Huskies' first CAA win over Drexel on Friday, the freshman opened the scoring when she deflected a penalty corner shot from junior Lauren Rowe in the second.
- Taylor scored her fourth goal of the season off another penalty corner deflection to give Northeastern a 1-0 lead over No. 21 Delaware on Sunday.
- The freshman ranks second on the team for goals with four and third on the team for points with nine.
- Taylor previously earned the CAA Rookie of the Week honor after scoring a goal in the Huskies' 3-0 win over Dartmouth (9/24/21).
Taylor and the Huskies will return to Dedham Field on Sunday, Oct. 17 as they take on No. 3 Louisville at 12 p.m. The game will be streamed on
