Huskies Welcome Boston University to Dedham Field

BOSTON – The Northeastern field hockey team (2-8, 1-0 CAA) will play host to Boston University (5-6, 3-0 Patriot) for a Sunday afternoon matchup on Oct. 9 at 1 p.m.

Three Things to Know:

Familiar Foes: The two Boston schools are meeting for the 52nd time in history, with Northeastern leading the series 27-24. The Terriers have won seven of the last ten matchups, but the Huskies grabbed a 2-1 win a year ago.

Mak-Attack: Junior forward Mak Graves is leading the team in points this year with 14 (6G, 2A). She has scored a goal in two consecutive contests, including the game-winner against Hofstra in double overtime to open CAA play.

Instant Impact: Ten games into the season, the Huskies have had 53% (10/19) of their goals scored by freshman in Emmy Stubbs (5G), Emilia Adragna (4G) and Anna-Kate Domingue (1G).

The Huskies will return to action with a road contest at Boston College on Oct. 12 at 4 p.m.
